Humphrey, Joe Palooka's famous pal, encounters comic misadventures involving a beehive and a honey jar on the cover. The interior features a story about a boy named Botch Harris visiting his Uncle John's ranch, where he desperately wants to join a cattle wrangling trip but is initially refused; after being called a "dude," Botch proves himself by single-handedly herding a stray cattle herd into the corral, earning the respect of the cowhands who never call him a dude again.
