Human Target #5
Christopher Chance leaps through the neon-lit streets of Hong Kong, arms spread wide as an explosion erupts beneath him against a backdrop of Chinese signage and the series' signature target motif — Ryan Sook's cover crackles with kinetic energy and a real sense of place. This fifth issue, written by Len Wein with interior art by Bruno Redondo and Sergio Sandoval, takes DC's master of disguise deep into "Havoc in Hong Kong" territory. Fans of the Fox TV series that was running at the time will find plenty to draw them in, and longtime readers of the character will appreciate the globe-trotting, high-stakes atmosphere on full display.
