In "Korsveier," Betty’s sudden departure with her ex-husband sets off a chain reaction when the Hulk is injured and targeted for execution at Gamma Base. With SHIELD preparing to carry out the kill order, X-Factor intervenes to protect the Hulk, joined by Clay, who defects alongside Bruce and Rick—leading to a dramatic escape and the destruction of Gamma Base in a fiery climax.
