In the frozen silence of a high mountain cave, Hulk stumbles into the icy realm of Jack Frost, a being who has built a frozen world to escape humanity. When Frost attacks, the green giant’s strength proves overwhelming, toppling the icy domain and triggering a collapse. As Frost tries to make amends, he is caught in the wreckage—his fate sealed. In "3-D Mannens Hemmelighet," Bruce Banner finds temporary refuge with a kind family, but when the father, Hal Chandler, discovers Banner's true identity, panic sets in and triggers Banner’s transformation into the Hulk. Chandler, however, is no ordinary man—he’s the vessel for his brother Charles, the enigmatic 3-D Man, who steps forward to confront the raging giant. Meanwhile, in General Ross’s remote hunting cabin, Woodgod tends to the wounded Centauron when an unexpected attack by Doc Samson forces him to summon his fellow changelings. With tensions rising and allies scattered, Rick Jones rallies the Teen Brigade to answer the call.

Hulk møter Byttingene! kicks off with the Changelings dragging Rick, Betty, Fred, and General Ross into their remote forest village, where Woodgod warns they’ll live only as long as the weakened Centauron does. As Hulk tracks them down, a fierce clash erupts—chaos reigns as the Changelings fight back, and a hidden betrayal brews when Leoninus slips poison into Centauron’s medicine. With his friends pleading for mercy, Hulk grows weary of restraint and walks away, leaving the fate of the village—and the others—hanging in the balance.
