Hulk #4/1980

In "Døden fra rommet," Bruce and Betty plummet from eight miles above the earth, but Bruce transforms into the Hulk just in time to soften their fall. Stranded on a remote island, the Hulk fights to heal Betty while fending off a savage gang of volcano-dwelling creatures determined to crush her. When a military helicopter arrives to rescue her, the Hulk slips aboard in secret, still watching over her from the shadows.

In "Hevn!", Betty returns to Hulkbuster Base with the Hulk hidden in tow, seeking a fragile reunion with her father—only for their quiet moment to shatter when Rhino and Abomination launch a brutal assault on the base. Jim and Talia, having driven two thousand miles just to say hello, arrive to find the compound under siege, and as the Hulk fights to protect them, Jim races to disarm a Gamma bomb meant to level the facility. With the battle turning in their favor, a sudden betrayal threatens to undo everything.

In "Ødeleggeren," the Hulk is imprisoned at Hulkbuster base, where his furious attempts to break free trigger a desperate move: a teleportation ray sends him to another dimension. But when the Hulkbusters try to repeat the process, they instead summon the Juggernaut—only to find themselves facing both titans at once. Trapped between two unstoppable forces, the base collapses into chaos as the Hulk and the Juggernaut clash, their raw power tearing through the facility. The X-Men arrive to subdue the Juggernaut, but let the Hulk slip away—leaving the two rivals, now bound by circumstance, on a collision course that’s far from over.
