Hulk #4/1980
In "Döden från rymden," Bruce and Betty plummet from eight miles above the earth, but Bruce transforms into the Hulk just in time to soften their fall. Stranded on a remote island, the Hulk struggles to care for Betty as she recovers, fending off a relentless assault from a group of monstrous beings tied to the volcano. When a military helicopter arrives to rescue her, the Hulk slips away, keeping his presence hidden.
In "Hämnd," Betty returns to Hulkbuster Base with the Hulk hidden in tow, seeking a fragile reunion with her father—only for their quiet moment to shatter when Rhino and the Abomination attack. Jim and Talia, having driven two thousand miles just to see their friends, arrive to find the base under siege, and as the Hulk fights off the invaders, Jim races to disarm a Gamma bomb meant to destroy the facility. With the crisis seemingly contained, Armbruster seizes the chance to trap the Hulk during a fleeting moment of vulnerability.
In "Ödeläggaren," the Hulk is imprisoned at the Hulkbuster base, where his strength threatens to break free—until a mysterious ray, wielded by Peter Corbeau, sends him to another dimension. There, he’s forced to team up with the Juggernaut, a clash of titans that’s as volatile as it is unexpected. As the two powerhouses battle each other and the X-Men arrive to take down the Juggernaut, the Hulk finds himself caught in a conflict far from his usual path—where allies are as dangerous as enemies.
