In "To år før katastrofen," Bruce Banner returns from Counter-Earth only to be ambushed by Thunderbolt Ross, whose shuttle destroys his ship in a flash. With the Hulkbusters sent to capture the Hulk, they instead bring back the Abomination—now promised a cure and freedom in exchange for capturing the jade giant. As the Abomination confronts the Hulk, he delivers a devastating truth: Betty has married Glenn and is honeymooning in Niagara Falls.

In "To år før katastrofen del 2," the Hulk follows Betty and Talbot to Niagara Falls, where the newlyweds are on their honeymoon. There, a sudden attack from Tiger Shark throws the peace into chaos—mistaking the Hulk for an ally of the Sub-Mariner, the shark-like villain strikes without warning.

In "Døden lurer ved grensen," the Hulk stumbles upon a secluded Canadian cabin where Hank McCoy is attempting to treat the Mimic, whose powers are spiraling dangerously out of control. Tensions rise as the two heroes clash, leading to a desperate confrontation that ends with the Mimic absorbing the Hulk’s gamma radiation—tragic consequences follow, and the Hulk regains his strength before departing into the wilderness.
