Hulk #2/1974
In "Och nu... Rymdparasiten!", the Red Clown returns just after his release from prison, drawn back into a web of conspiracy when the men who gave him his first suit offer him a dangerous upgrade. With Bruce Banner still weakened from gas, the Hulk must face the Red Clown’s new threat—only to be led astray by a desperate, misguided belief that Betty is in danger from her father, General Ross. Written by Gary Friedrich and illustrated by Marie Severin with inks by Frank Giacoia, this 1974 issue features cover art by Marie Severin and Frank Giacoia, capturing the eerie, escalating tension of a man transformed by both science and madness.
In "Och nu... Rymdparasiten!", the Hulk faces a cosmic threat when a malevolent alien parasite hijacks a television broadcast to target him, then travels to Earth to drain his strength for conquest. As the green giant battles the interstellar invader, a twist from the parasite’s own kind delivers a decisive blow—leaving the Hulk captured by New York police.
In "Hornmannens återkomst gripen!", the newly freed Hornmannen is drawn back into the fray by the mysterious men who first gave him his suit, receiving a dangerous upgrade. When Bruce Banner is being transferred from Sing-Sing prison, Hornmannen strikes again—just as Hulk, still weakened from gas, struggles to respond. With Betty in peril and Ross looming, Hulk makes a desperate move, snatching her up and leaping away, leaving the fate of both uncertain.
