Howl's Moving Castle #1

This volume adapts the first portion of Hayao Miyazaki's 2005 animated film Howl's Moving Castle into a full-color film comic format, using direct screenshots and dialogue from the movie. It follows young hatmaker Sophie, who is cursed by a witch and finds refuge in the wandering castle of the enigmatic wizard Howl, as she navigates magic and war in a whimsical steampunk fantasy world. Published by Viz, this is the first of several volumes collecting the film's story in a graphic novel style.
