The fifth chapter of the "Alabaster" arc arrives in this moody BOOM! Studios issue, with a cover by Javier Rodríguez that sets an immediately unsettling tone — a sharp-eyed young figure crouches atop a rocky ledge beneath a full moon, a darkened house with glowing windows looming in the crimson-tinged distance and something claw-like lurking in the shadowy water below. Sam Johns and Letizia Cadonici's collaboration continues to bring an atmosphere that sits right at the crossroads of gothic dread and eerie quiet, with Francesco Segala's deep purples and reds doing a lot of heavy atmospheric lifting.
