“The Girl from Two Worlds”

In "The Girl from Two Worlds," Mike and Eddie Hunter's construction crew uncovers a terrifying secret while drilling through Giant's Tooth in the French Alps—centuries-old miners, long thought lost, are still alive, trapped in time and transformed by the mountain's strange forces. The story unfolds with eerie suspense as past and present collide, revealing a hidden world beneath the stone, and a mysterious girl whose origins defy explanation. Art by Howard Sherman brings the haunting atmosphere to life, while the cover by Dick Dillin and Sheldon Moldoff captures the tale’s eerie mystery in striking detail.

Mike and Eddie Hunter's construction company is hired to bore a road tunnel through Giant's Tooth, a mountain in the French Alps. As they complete the tunnel they are attacked by beasts, who turn out to be Emile LaTour's tunnel crew from a century before. The beasts save the Hunters' crew from being transformed into beasts and are retrapped in a tunnel cave-in.
