Hot Stuff, the Little Devil #83

Harvey Comics' pint-sized infernal charmer is back in fine form with this April 1968 entry in the long-running series. The cover, illustrated by Ernie Colón, shows Hot Stuff — diaper-clad and trident in hand — encircling a wide-eyed green dragon in a swirling ring of flame, the little devil looking thoroughly unimpressed while his much larger opponent dances in a panic. It's a wonderfully playful image that captures exactly the cheerful mischief that made Hot Stuff such a delight for young readers throughout the 1960s.
