Horrorschocker #30
In "Die Geister der toten Legion," writer and artist Levin Kurio delivers a haunting tale set decades after the fall of a Roman legion in the Teuteborger Forest, where enslaved Roman soldier Numonius and a band of German barbarians venture into the haunted woods seeking lost treasure. What they uncover is not gold, but the vengeful spirits of the dead legion—awakened as a horde of zombies, led by a towering, monstrous figure. With stunning visuals by Levin Kurio and color work by Marte Kurio-Deiterding, this 2012 issue from Weissblech Comics blends myth and dread in a story that lingers long after the final page.
