Horizon #2

The second issue of Image's sci-fi series Horizon arrives with a cover that's equal parts dread and momentum — three silhouetted figures sprint across a ridge beneath a massive, blood-red wash of color, a looming shadowy face and a lightning-bolt shape hovering ominously above them. The stark two-tone design by Thomas, Gedeon, and Martín gives the whole thing an urgent, cinematic feel that pulls you right in. If this image is any indication, Horizon is shaping up to be one of 2016's most visually striking series.
