Hopalong Cassidy #5

Belle Rivers, a skilled rider, visits Hopalong Cassidy's ranch with provisions, but her plans are interrupted by an incoming storm. Later, Belle attempts to steal money from the safe at a barber shop to pay off debts, but Hopalong discovers the theft and pursues the fleeing barbers. After a gunfight, Hopalong shoots the gun from the thief's hand. The story then shifts to outlaws in a ghost city who plan to ambush and kill Hopalong, believing his death would grant them the privilege of becoming the territory's sheriff, but Hopalong and his companions ultimately survive the trap.
