# Hopalong Cassidy #36 The main story, "The White Rider," follows Hopalong as he attempts to catch a mysterious outlaw known as the White Rider. Hopalong discovers that the White Rider is actually Kanchee Turnbull, a man responsible for robberies at Hopalong's ranch. When confronted, Turnbull admits to the crimes and attempts to escape, leading to a confrontation where Hopalong forces him to reveal the location of stolen loot in exchange for sparing his life. The issue also includes a backup feature titled "Whitey Whiskers in The Cave in," a comedic story featuring the character Whitey Whiskers and his interactions with other ranch characters.
