The main story follows Hopalong Cassidy as he investigates a mysterious couch moving inside a house, discovering Mesquite hidden beneath, leading to a reunion. "Whitey Whiskers Auctioned Off" depicts a farmer preparing to auction off his old ranch equipment and hiring help, offering ten dollars for labor during the auction day.
