Hopalong Cassidy #3

Hopalong Cassidy tracks down the outlaw Mesquite and his gang after they escape from jail. When Hopalong encounters Mesquite at a square dance, Mesquite tells him the story of how he and his men broke out, revealing they plan to rob a stagecoach. Hopalong waits and ambushes the outlaws at Cliffside Prison, but discovers Mesquite has already escaped with the stolen money. In the final confrontation, Hopalong corners Mesquite and his accomplices, and after a fierce battle involving rope and gunfire, Hopalong defeats the criminals and recovers the stolen cash.
