From the sun-baked badlands of the American West, DC's Hopalong Cassidy #107 arrives with a photo cover showcasing William Boyd in full black cowboy regalia — twin revolvers drawn, silver star gleaming, his white horse standing tall beside him — every inch the screen hero the header proudly calls "America's Favorite Cowboy." A bold circular emblem touts the lead story, "Riddle of the Masked Lawman!," complete with a dramatic domino mask graphic that hints at mystery riding alongside the action. Inside, Ed Herron's script and Gene Colan's art (inked by Ray Burnley) carry Hoppy through "The Mystery Trail to Stagecoach Town!" — all new stories for a dime, stamped with the Comics Code seal of 1955.
