This second volume adapts the latter half of David Simon's true-crime book Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets, continuing the gritty, day-by-day look at Baltimore homicide detectives. Written by Simon and illustrated by Philippe Squarzoni, it follows the same detectives through more cases, departmental politics, and the emotional toll of the job, completing the graphic novel adaptation of the landmark nonfiction work.
