Homer, the Happy Ghost #4

Homer the Happy Ghost floats serenely above a sun-drenched beach scene, his halo glowing and a contented smile on his face, while three hapless swimmers below thrash and flail in the waves — completely unaware of their spectral companion overhead. Dan DeCarlo's clean, expressive linework gives the whole scene a breezy, lighthearted charm that fits Atlas Comics' promise of "all brand-new laughs" perfectly. If you're in the mood for some genuinely funny, good-natured comics humor from 1955, Homer's carefree grin makes a pretty compelling case.
