Homer, the Happy Ghost #21
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHomer the Happy Ghost has interplanetary ambitions in this September 1958 Marvel charmer — the cover by Dan DeCarlo shows our little halo-wearing ghost riding a rocket emblazoned with "The Moon or Bust" and "No Hitchhikers Allowed," leaving Earth far behind in the starfield below. His destination looms large: the cratered surface of the Moon, already equipped with a "No Parking at Any Time — Moon P.D." sign that suggests the afterlife's friendliest specter may have arrived somewhere even the law has gotten there first. At a dime a copy, this is lighthearted, imaginatively drawn fun from a creative team that clearly delighted in sending Homer somewhere delightfully unexpected.
