The fifth issue of Image Comics' Home closes out this 2021 series with a cover by Lisa Sterle that radiates tension — a determined young boy stares directly at the viewer, glowing energy swirling at his clenched fist, warm amber and orange tones burning behind him while barbed wire threads through the title lettering above. It's a striking image that captures the emotional core of Julio Anta and Anna Wieszczyk's story: a kid who clearly carries extraordinary power navigating an extraordinary burden. Bryan Valenza's interior colors and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou's lettering round out a creative team that has made this one of 2021's more thoughtful superhero books.
