# City Smash/The Blue Streak "City Smash" opens with John Smith discovering the tomb of his father, an unknown soldier, and being tasked by his ghostly father to defend liberty against brutes plotting to destroy the American way of life. The Blue Streak, the hero's airborne alter ego, then engages enemy forces in military combat, deflecting bombs and routing Nazi and Axis troops from a prison compound and border crossing. In a parallel narrative, Lapa the villain schemes to ambush patriots with machine-gun fire from guard towers, but the Blue Streak warns the townspeople and battles the enemy's agent General Gotho, ultimately defeating him and his forces to secure the prison.
