When Bill saves a Hindu magician from tumbling into a sewer, the grateful stranger offers to grant him a wish—and Bill asks for a spell that forces his pal Koo to do everything he does. It's all fun and games until Bill's obedient shadow gets them chased by a cop, tangled up in a theater, and headed straight for jail. The magician realizes his "gift" has caused more trouble than it's worth, and things take a turn neither Bill nor Koo expected.
Inspector Klooz heads north to the frozen wilderness in pursuit of fur thieves who've conned a trapper and made off with his prize catch—but the bumbling sleuth's chaotic pursuit through the snowy landscape, complete with sled crashes and a tumble down a logging flume, keeps landing him in more trouble than the crooks deserve. When he finally corners the varmints, a surprise encounter with a real bear threatens to turn his victory lap into a furry disaster.
