Part four of "Ten Thousand Bullets" arrives with a cover by John McCrea that captures the chaos of a full-scale gunfight — Tommy Monaghan at the center in his signature green jacket and shades, blazing away alongside an ally while spent shell casings and glowing muzzle flashes fill the air and bodies scatter in every direction. It's a frenetic, kinetic composition that sells Garth Ennis and McCrea's Gotham underworld series as something genuinely unlike anything else DC was publishing in 1996. A great entry point into one of the era's most entertainingly violent crime comics.
