Closing Time: 7" barrels toward its conclusion with this penultimate chapter of Hitman's final arc. John McCrea's cover puts three fighters dead center in a storm of gunfire — a large man in white with an ammo belt, a red-haired woman in a flak vest, and a dark-coated man in shades, all blazing away against a bullet-riddled "Danger – No Admittance" sign. Garth Ennis's Gotham underworld saga was reliably intense in 2001, and this image of three people shooting their way through what looks like a last stand makes it clear the series intends to go out with everything it has.
