Part two of three in "The Old Dog" arc, this 2000 DC series entry finds Garth Ennis and John McCrea deep in the kind of darkly glamorous trouble that Hitman does so well. John McCrea's cover depicts a silver-haired man in a sharp suit seated at a table — a photograph of a face laid out before him — while a dark-haired woman in an elegant dress leans close, her red-nailed hand gripping his wrist with unmistakable tension, a straight razor caught between them. It's a tableau of dangerous intimacy that makes the middle chapter of this arc feel unmissable.
