Hitman #25
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHitman #25 (April 1998) puts Tommy Monaghan in about as bad a situation as a man can find himself — strung up by his ankles, bloodied, and surrounded by a ring of armed thugs who look anything but sympathetic, with one more unfortunate figure slumped on the floor nearby. John McCrea's cover work captures the grim, darkly comic atmosphere that makes this Garth Ennis series so distinctive, staging the whole grim tableau against a sickly orange backdrop of pipes and industrial gloom. "Who Dares Wins, Part Three" promises the kind of pressure-cooker tension the series does so well, making this a compelling chapter in one of DC's grittier 1990s titles.
