Hit-Girl takes her tour of Rome to a distinctly grim register in this second chapter of the four-part arc by writers Rafael Albuquerque and Rafael Scavone. The cover — penciled and inked by Albuquerque, colored by Marcelo Maiolo — places Mindy in close, unsettling profile as she holds up an ornately jeweled human skull, her masked gaze locked on it with cool, unflinching intensity. It's a striking, almost contemplative image that promises the Rome storyline is venturing somewhere darker and more atmospheric than your average action romp.
