In "Das Monster und der Astronaut," a gaseous alien criminal named Kraggoom plots to possess the mind of Earth’s first astronaut, hoping to use the human body to reclaim his former power. But when the chosen astronaut—revealed to be a fraud who cheated his way into the mission—succumbs to amnesia in space, Kraggoom finds himself trapped in a mind as lost as his own.
