In "The Mummy," a string of mysterious deaths among Egyptologists has the world on edge, each victim claimed by the curse of the ancient Pharaoh Ra-Kut. But when the mummified king himself begins to intervene, it's clear the real danger isn't from beyond the grave—it's someone walking among the living.
Betty Bates, the brilliant young District Attorney, thought she'd put the dangerous Dr. Albert Drew away for good after securing his murder conviction—but years later, a mysterious man known as Mr. Malice has infiltrated her daily routine, waiting for the perfect moment to exact his revenge. When he finally lures her to his house under false pretenses, Betty discovers that Mr. Malice is Drew himself, and he's rigged a deadly timed device to make her pay for sending him to prison.
