This second volume of the Hidalgos series continues the swashbuckling adventures set in 17th-century Europe, following the exploits of a band of Spanish noblemen-turned-mercenaries. Titled 'La Louve de Messine' (The She-Wolf of Messina), the story unfolds in Sicily as the characters become entangled in local intrigues and a dangerous mission involving a mysterious woman. Written by Jean-Charles Kraehn and illustrated by Vincent Dutreuil, this volume collects issues from the original French series published by Glénat.
