The cover by Keith Giffen and Carlos Garzón stages a grim, rubble-strewn scene — a figure in blue crouches amid debris and a guttering flame while a bloodied body hangs inverted above — perfectly capturing the bleak, post-apocalyptic tone that defined this run. Writer Michael Fleisher brings it home with a story titled "Thanksgiving," making this issue a genuinely memorable send-off for Jonah Hex's far-future adventure.
