A haunting, painterly figure emerges from near-darkness on this 2008 Frémok release, its luminous form caught in shadowy, gestural strokes that feel more like a dream half-remembered than a conventional comic cover. Thierry Van Hasselt and Mylène Lauzon bring a raw, expressive sensibility to Heureux, Alright!, and the cover alone — brooding blacks giving way to that single pale form reflected beneath — signals something deeply personal and atmospheric.
