Kamagurka's dry wit is on full display with this handsome red-covered volume featuring Bert — rendered here in a small oval portrait as a grumpy, glasses-wearing, barrel-chested fellow who looks thoroughly unimpressed with everything around him. The subtitle cheekily promises "a little bit of Bobje" as well, with a tiny poop emoji punctuating that promise at the bottom of the cover. Published by De Harmonie and Van Halewyck in 2007, this is Kamagurka working at his deadpan best — minimalist, wry, and utterly charming.
