This is an anthology issue featuring three frontier adventure stories. "Davy Crockett and the Renegade Plunderers" follows Davy as he encounters a band of renegades in the wilderness. "Daniel Boone Opens the Great New Frontier of Kentucky" depicts Boone's exploration and settlement activities in Kentucky. "Buffalo Bill and the Longest Pony Express Ride in History" chronicles Buffalo Bill's participation in an extended pony express delivery, involving action sequences and frontier dangers including conflicts with adversaries over a valuable mail pouch.
