Heroes in Crisis #2
In "Heroes in Crisis Part 2: Then I Became Superman," Tom King and Clay Mann deliver a gripping chapter as Batman examines the remains of Commander Steel, while Harley Quinn flees from heroes who are closing in—only to vanish after implicating Booster Gold. Flashbacks deepen the mystery as more heroes share their reasons for seeking refuge at Sanctuary, all while Booster, unaware of Wally’s fate, turns to Barry for help, setting off a quiet but powerful emotional ripple. The story’s emotional core is rendered with precision by Clay Mann’s expressive art and the nuanced colors of Tomeu Morey and Arif Prianto, with the cover by Clay Mann capturing the weight of the moment.

Batman performs an autopsy on Commander Steel. Harley asks Penguin for help in finding a place to hide out. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman catch up to her, but she is able to elude capture after telling the heroes that Booster Gold was behind the murders at Sanctuary. Meanwhile, Booster is trying to solve the mystery of if it was Harley or himself who was behind the murders and goes to the Flash for help. Booster does not realize that Barry is unaware of Wally's death, and Barry does not take the news well. In flashback, we see more characters explaining why they came to Sanctuary.
