Johann Gutenberg is born in Germany, but as he grows up he has read every book in Mainz. He is frustrated that books are expensive and very slow to produce because they are all hand made. He opens a workshop in an abandoned monastery, but the man who loaned him money to work on how to make books faster becomes impatient. Gutenberg prays, and God sends him another investor who supports Johann as he develops moveable type printing.
