The third and final chapter of Luc Ferry's De Wijsheid van Mythes trilogy brings Herakles to his apotheosis — his elevation to something greater than mortal. The cover, rendered in brooding amber tones by Carlos Rafael Duarte, shows a muscle-bound Herakles straining against chains while the three snarling heads of Cerberus lunge from the shadows at his feet.
