This anthology issue contains two crime stories adapted from True Police and FBI cases. "Charity Leech" tells of Joe Marsh, a con man who organized charity benefits for his own profit, eventually dying in prison while the state was forced to bury him in Potter's Field. "Grim Lesson!" recounts how Johnny Alcott's brother Fred, a former gunman, was caught by police and detective Mister Duncan after holding up a store in Cranville, leading to a shootout and Fred's capture that taught Johnny the hard way that crime does not pay.
