Headline Comics #39

An anthology of crime and police stories. The visible stories include a tale of gangsters who tunnel into a bank vault and steal nearly a quarter million dollars, but their getaway is compromised when their car gets a flat tire, leading to their capture by police and Detective Monk Torrence. Another story follows Dick, a man caught between his girlfriend and a crime boss known as Red, who shoots Dick before being apprehended by law enforcement after a dramatic confrontation.
