Headline Comics #4 is an anthology featuring at least two stories. The opening story involves a character named Cliff who departs on a secret mission to Alaska to locate a Japanese wireless station hidden in the Barren Regions, where the enemy has concealed weather reports to the fleet. "The Invisible Boy" tells of Dan Curtis, a twelve-year-old who gains electrical powers after being struck by lightning during a thunderstorm, and uses his newfound invisibility ability to help his friends with their problems, including resolving baseball season troubles. A third visible story involves characters named Johnny and Lumpy investigating suspicious activity at a museum, discovering an old arrow flint and uncovering evidence of enemy agents and wax works.
