Head Lopper #13

Andrew MacLean's Head Lopper returns with the start of Volume 4, and the cover sets the tone perfectly: a massively built, red-armored warrior looms in a stone archway, gripping an enormous double-headed axe with almost casual confidence — a tiny head perched atop that enormous frame giving the whole image an irresistibly quirky charm. MacLean's bold, clean linework and warm golden palette make this quarterly adventure comic feel like a fantasy cartoon brought gloriously to life. If you've been following Norgal's travels, issue 13 is a fine place to dive back in.
