As the Horde attack on Eternos continues, Randor calls a withdrawal to Castle Grayskull. Battle Cat scars Adora's face in the retreat. Randor informs those gathered at the castle that Eternia has fallen to the attackers, who hit every village in the kingdom at once. He reveals that the leader of the enemy is Hordak, a monster from legend thought to be myth. Despara arrives in holographic form and offers to spare the others if Battle Cat is butchered and He-Man fights her to the death. After refusing her offer, the heroes prepare to hear Teela's story of her past with Adora.
