He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #12

The cover by Ryan Sook is a striking image: a towering green-skinned sorceress looms over He-Man and two allies, her reaching hand and snake staff radiating an eerie emerald energy as serpentine tendrils coil around the heroes below. He-Man strains against the supernatural assault, sword still in hand, alongside what appear to be a green-skinned warrior and a red-helmeted companion — all three caught in what looks like a very bad moment. Writer Dan Abnett, along with Rob David and Lloyd Goldfine, closes out the "What Lies Within" arc with issue #12, and artist Tom Derenick delivers the interior pages of what this cover promises to be a genuinely tense conclusion.
