The penultimate chapter of this 2011 four-issue limited series delivers one of its most unsettling images: a photograph of Hawkeye in his purple cowl, pinned to a target and pierced through both eyes by two bloodied arrows. The stark composition — a shooter's bullseye framing the defaced portrait — makes the threat against Clint Barton feel visceral and personal, perfectly in tune with the series title and the story's ominous chapter heading, "My Brother's Killer."
