A Hollywood agent falls in love with the wife of a mystic yogi who has the ability to put his wife into a death-like state as part of their carnival act. He convinces the yogi to make it seem like she's dead so they can revive her for a publicity stunt, but in truth the agent wants to kill the yogi to have his wife to himself. The plan backfires.
