Haunt #23
Haunt #23 arrives at a fever pitch, with Nathan Fox's cover art erupting in swirling blacks, golds, and reds as the shadowy, symbiote-like Haunt figure clashes violently against what appears to be a massive, flame-wreathed entity — the collision of forms feels genuinely uncontrolled and alive. Ivan Plascencia's coloring transforms the scene into something almost hallucinatory, all volcanic oranges and deep crimson bleeding together beneath the combatants. Paired with Joe Casey's scripting under Image's 20th anniversary banner, "Return Trip" looks like one of the more visually unhinged entries in the series.
