Harvey Hits #83 brings a cheerful birthday celebration to the pages of this 1964 Harvey Comics offering, with cover art by George Baker. Little Sad Sack stands wide-eyed at the center of a wonderfully chaotic party scene — a "Happy Birthday Little Sad Sack" cake ablaze with candles in front of him, a sombrero piled high with pop bottles being hoisted overhead by reaching hands on all sides, and his little dog Pupsy sniffing around at his feet. It's the kind of warm, goofy mayhem that made Harvey's humor titles such a delight, and at 12 cents, this issue was pure fun for the whole family.
